The festival features live, authentic Greek dancing, Greek music, and, of course, Greek food! The members of the parish prepare all of our traditional Greek favorites for our visitors. All of the food is prepared by the chefs of Saint Katherine using their own special Greek recipes and ingredients. If you run out of room before getting to dessert, don't worry! Our food and desserts are also available for take out. In addition, we have cultural displays and guided tours of the Byzantine-style church. Guests get the opportunity to view the beautiful iconography inside the Church as well as history of the Greeks and the Greek Orthodox religion. This festival is not to be missed! The Sacramento Bee (2/7/2014) notes that our festival "has a more homegrown vibe to it". Our handcrafted Greek cuisine, cultural experience and lively, festive atmosphere allow guests and their families to enjoy a beautiful and fun "Weekend in Greece"!
